The Kardashians' Love For Photo Booths Might Have Started with ... Michael Jackson?!
In today's strange but true fact ...
The Kardashians' love of selfies and photo booths is well-documented, but that obsession didn't begin with the advent of KiraKira.
Long ago, before there was even a thing called Instagram, Kim and Kourtney were mugging for photos in a legendary fixture of 1990s pop culture: Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. And there's social media proof of that strange-but-true fact!
On January 15, Kim posted a throwback black-and-white snap that showed herself and her sister posing in a photo booth. In the caption, Kim explained: "We took this pic in the photo booth at Neverland Valley Ranch in 1994." You know, like it's no big thing. (Quick question: was Macaulay Culkin somewhere nearby?)
So, is this where the Kardashians' love of photo booths began? And, in other unexplained mysteries, what are the sisters doing with their hands in that snap? Is that some kind of a Thriller homage?
While we ponder the big questions, we can say one thing for sure: this is the kind of throwback snap that makes glad to be alive.
