Heather Dubrow Explains Her Criticism of Teresa Giudice Following Her Prison Release
The #RHOC actress says people want "accountability and remorse" from the #RHONJ mom.
After Teresa Giudice's emotional homecoming in the Season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we're all eager to see how she gets her life back to normal after serving 11 months in prison last year.
But perhaps none more so than Teresa's fellow Housewife Heather Dubrow. "I'm curious to see what happens. I'm sure it's sad and interesting," The Real Housewives of Orange County actress said of the new season during a recent interview with PEOPLE Now.
Heather also has questions about how Teresa has presented herself in the media since her return home. "It was a little bit odd to see her come back and talk about doing yoga in prison," she said. "I'm not sure that was the right message."
Some fans didn't take too kindly to Heather's criticism, and one viewer asked the RHOC mom "why she always bashes Teresa Giudice" during Monday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live. "Oh, gosh, I don't," Heather told Andy Cohen. "But listen, when you're asked a question, you answer. I'm here in New York doing press for The Real Housewives of Orange County and our book that's coming out with Terry and I. And I got asked a question."
Heather went on to clarify her comments to PEOPLE Now. "What I said was that I think Teresa — I don't know Teresa — but I think that she seems very nice and she really seems like a great mother, but what I've seen of the coverage is that she came back from prison talking a lot about yoga and her diet. And I think a lot of people would like to hear about accountability and remorse," she explained. "And that was my comment. I think that was honestly, in the scheme of things, pretty benign."
So what does the RHONJ mom have to say about all this? Well, she hasn't responded to Heather's comments just yet, so while we wait to see if she continues to embrace her inner "Namaste Teresa," as Andy has dubbed her, check out Teresa's yoga routine, below.
