Does Andy Cohen Think Teresa Giudice Is Genuinely Remorseful?
The #WWHL host revealed whether or not he thinks the #RHONJ author has learned from her mistakes.
During the first part of his Watch What Happens Live one-on-one with Teresa Giudice, Andy Cohen asked The Real Housewives of New Jersey author if she held herself accountable for why she served 11-and-a-half months in prison. "Of course I do," Teresa responded. "I signed papers without reading them. Before I ever do that again, I'm going to make sure whatever I put my John Hancock on that I understand fully before signing any other papers in the future. And I pled guilty to what I did. I got sentenced. I served 11-and-a-half months. I apologized to the judge. I did my time."
So does Andy think Teresa showed genuine remorse on WWHL? "That's a really good question. Yes. I just can't tell what her thoughts are about what did happen. So I think she is remorseful. Yes," Andy told his assistant Daryn Carp (clip above).
Andy definitely doesn't think Teresa would put herself in the same situation again, but does he believe she truly understands what she did? "I think so," the WWHL host said.
However, Andy couldn't get over Teresa's outfit on WWHL, which he pointed out at the beginning of their interview that it looked very similar to what inmates typically wear in jail. Andy said the fact that Teresa "showed up in an orange jumpsuit" was what surprised him the most about seeing her for the first time since she was released from prison. "I couldn't believe it," he said.
Andy also gave us an update on how things are between Teresa and her onetime friend Jacqueline Laurita as they film the upcoming seventh season of RHONJ. "Well, I know what's happening, so it's very fiery," he said. "It's interesting. Very interesting."
That's a very tantalizing teaser, if we do say so ourselves. Check out another one, below.
