It's hard to imagine Teresa Giudice living anywhere but the Garden State. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom was born and raised to be Jersey Strong. But in an excerpt from her forthcoming memoir, Standing Strong, she opens up about sometimes wondering about moving away from her home state.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

"I often think to myself, maybe we should move and start over. I fantasize about what life would be like if we picked up and relocated to a place like Kentucky and started from scratch. What if I was no longer Teresa Giudice, reality television star from New Jersey, and I became Teresa Smith, real estate agent from Louisville or Lexington?" she writes, via Us Weekly. "What would my new house look like? What would my new friends look like? Where would I get my hair [d]one? Are there any good Italian restaurants in Kentucky? Would the paparazzi come looking for me? Would I be happy?"

The book gives an inside look at Teresa's life following the release of her 2016 memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, as she embarks on life after leaving prison in 2015 and now raising her four daughters on her own as her husband, Joe, serves a 41-month prison sentence.

The book hits retailers on October 3, one day before the Season 8 premiere of RHONJ on October 4 at 9/8c. Check out a trailer above, and a sneak peek into Teresa's life these days below.
