Tamra Judge Wants Her Son Ryan and His Fiancée Sarah to "Get It Together"
The #RHOC mom reveals where things stand in their "up and down" relationship.
Last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra Judge experienced one of the greatest joys of her life when she became a grandma as son Ryan Vieth welcomed his daughter Ava into the world with fiancée Sarah Rodriguez.
But what a difference a year makes. When we caught up with Ryan during last week's episode of RHOC, he was having some major issues with Sarah, who he has had a tumultuous relationship with over the years.
Now, Ryan and Sarah are taking things one day at a time. "Well, Ryan and Sarah are a day-to-day thing," Tamra told The Daily Dish. "They're doing good today. They went to Disneyland with Ava yesterday. But it's up and down, and it's tiring, frustrating, and I just want them to get it together."
This hasn't been easy for Tamra to witness, especially because she is close to both Ryan and Sarah. "Sarah and I are super close, and we're more like friends than the mother-daughter relationship," Tamra said. "So Sarah tends to tell me a lot of things that are going on in their relationship, which kind of at times I'm like, 'Oh, jeez, I don't think I want to know this.' Like, 'I don't need to know about every single fight.' But she doesn't have a lot of people out here, and she doesn't have a mom or a dad, so I've really stepped in."
Unfortunately, Tamra sometimes finds herself inadvertently involved Ryan and Sarah's drama. "I have definitely been caught in the middle of Ryan and Sarah's arguments, and that's because he would tell me things in the very beginning, and she would tell me things. I would tell him something, and then he would go and tell her something, and she would get mad at me, then vice versa. And I'm like, 'OK, guys, I'm not doing this,'" she explained.
And as we saw during Monday night's episode of RHOC, Tamra's husband Eddie Judge isn't happy that she has put herself in this situation. "Definitely Eddie thinks that I need to stay out of their issues, and I understand it," she said. "I'm just trying to help. I'm not telling them what to do or guide them in any direction. Just give them my advice."
Luckily, it hasn't caused a strain in her own marriage. "Eddie will give me his opinion — yeah, yeah, whatever — but it's not like a fight with us. Like, we don't fight over Ryan. He's a grown man. He's 30 years old," she explained. "So I just want to be there for my kids."
But Tamra and Eddie have had some stern discussions about Ryan in the past, as we saw last season of RHOC.
