After years of estrangement, Tamra Judge and daughter Sidney Barney are working on patching things up. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum recently revealed that the two have reconciled amid ex-husband Simon Barney’s battle with throat cancer.

How to Watch

Tamra dropped the update on where her relationship with Sidney stands today while responding to a follower’s comment on Instagram. After posting a photo with her younger daughter, Sophia, a fan asked if she and Sidney have started talking after Simon’s diagnosis.

“We have all reunited,” Tamra wrote in response, also adding a heart emoji.

Tamra has been open about the challenges she and her eldest daughter have faced in their relationship since her divorce from Sidney’s father, Simon, in 2011. Following the breakup, Sidney decided to live with Simon, while their son Spencer chose to live with Tamra and husband Eddie, whom she married in 2013. Tamra and Simon's youngest child, Sophia, splits her time between both households. (Tamra is also mom to son Ryan Vieth from a previous relationship.)

Tamra Relationship Sidney

Since learning that Simon had been diagnosed with throat cancer last year, Tamra says the family has banded together to support him. “The kids were split after the divorce and chose sides but, at the end of the day, none of that matters,” she told People in February. "All we have to do is rally together to make it through this.”

Tamra, who announced her departure from RHOC earlier this year, says Simon’s diagnosis has made her “reevaluate her life” and shift her priorities. “I’ve loved doing the show and love the people there,” she recently said of her decision to leave the series. “But I just want to be with my family. Nothing else matters.”
