Star Jones Sipped and Spilled Every Last Drop of Tea About The View
The celebrity attorney dished about her tenure on the daytime talk show on #WWHL.
Joy Behar is really the OG of The View. She's been there since the beginning, so when it comes to having a strong opinion about the ladies who have come and gone from the panel, it should be her. And, according to former The View co-host Star Jones, Joy has a very specific opinion of her co-panelists.
"All of us. She loves us, but she doesn't like us," Star shared during Sunday's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The tea, however, was far from spilled. Star, who was on the show for nine years and left in 2006, went on to share that, despite the crew's ups and downs, on-camera and off-, the celebrity lawyer only has kind memories from her time there. "You know what? You have to grow. You can't sit there and look at regrets. You're supposed to learn from your mistakes, figure out what you did wrong, try and do it right the next time and move on. In all honesty, all of my co-hosts were very prepared," she said. "I worked with some of the very best people there are in television... So I would look like an idiot to say something mean about those girls, and I never would."
There was one moment that Star wished she could have been there to experience for herself. And that was the infamous 2007 on-air battle royale between Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. "I kind of wanted to be there," she said. "I mean, come on. First of all, I would have probably been a good peacemaker. The only thing I didn't like was the split screen because the split screen indicated that they were really angry with each other and the first rule of being on The View is you can disagree without being disagreeable. And that showed that they were disagreeable, and the audience doesn't like that."
