Kathryn C. Dennis' Kids Are All Smiles As They Start Something Big

Summer has flown by and that means that classes are back in session. And that's definitely the case for Kathryn C. Dennis and her two little ones, Kensie, 4, and St. Julien, 2. The Southern Charm mom and her kids were all smiles as they prepped to head off to their first day of school. She shared the adorable photo and the big news on Instagram.

"27 years ago I was given life, now I’ve given life to these nuggets," she wrote. "#momswag #firstdayofschool."

Speaking of 27, Kathryn took some time for herself and rang in another year of life at a splashy surprise birthday party over the weekend attended by Patricia Altschul and Shep Rose.

But, Kathryn is always quick to remind us how much she loves her tots and how much they have helped her grow since she became a mom and launched this next phase in her life. She recently wrote on Instagram about her life as a mom: "If you ever feel like giving up, just remember there is a little girl watching who wants to be just like you... don’t disappoint her."

In fact, Kathryn's evolution over the last five seasons of Southern Charm has earned her praise and solidified friendships with everyone from Patricia, to Danni Baird, to Cameran Eubanks, to even Vanderpump Rules SURver Lala Kent.

And when The Daily Dish recently spoke to Kathryn, she opened up about how much she's changed over the years. "It's so funny, like, Season one Kathryn, yeah, that was a whole different person. I was such a child," Kathryn told The Daily Dish before the taping of the Southern Charm Season 5 reunion (more on her family life in the clip above). "Like, when they did the flashback with my grandmother [this season], I was like, Jesus, I don't [know] that person. Who is that person? It's crazy."
