Siggy Flicker's Defense of Her Friendship with Kim D. Actually Makes a Lot of Sense
"I'm gonna stand behind her and there's nothing that anybody can do about it," the Garden State mom said.
Kim DePaola, better known as Kim D., has been a controversial figure for many seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She's even set to make quite the appearance this season, as the supertease shows. On the one hand, you have people like Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga who aren't so fond of the POSCHE boutique owner, and on the other, you have Siggy Flicker, who has been friends with Kim D. for years.
So you might imagine that Siggy's friendship with Kim D. has raised some eyebrows among the RHONJ squad. But Siggy is here to tell you why exactly she's remained buds with Kim D. all these years — and why she has no plans of ending their friendship anytime soon.
Siggy explained their camaraderie when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Wednesday night. "Well, the thing is that Kim D. is my friend, and I'm gonna stand behind her, and there's nothing that anybody can do about it," she said. "I've been friends with her five years prior to even knowing who Melissa and Teresa were."
And who knows? Perhaps Teresa and Melissa could one day bury the hatchet with Kim D. Stranger things have happened in the Garden State, after all. "You never know where friendships are gonna go. Who would've thought that Melissa and Teresa would be so close? And who would've thought that Teresa flipping a table at Danielle [Staub], and now they're namaste-ing together," Siggy pointed out on WWHL. "So I'm a leader; I'm not a follower, and I'm just not gonna dump friends because my friends don't get along."
