Shereé Whitfield Has a Really Big Announcement
The exciting news is served up with a side of shade.
The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta hasn't even begun, and already Shereé Whitfield is spilling some major tea. She announced some exciting news on The Wendy Williams Show Wednesday.
The RHOA mom revealed that the basement in the iconic Chateau Shereé is finally complete. "Guess what, the basement is no longer a mess," she told Wendy Williams. "I finished the basement."
As you may recall, there was some drama surrounding Shereé's basement during last season's finale when Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss explored the unfinished part of the home during the Chateau Shereé housewarming — and threw some shade in the process. The smack talk eventually led to a heated moment between Kenya and Kim Zolciak-Biermann.
Shereé explained why it was so important for her to finally finish the space on The Wendy Williams Show. "I feel like that was part of my job. Working on that house for so long and with my kids being gone, I had nothing else to do," she said. "So I finished my basement, so I'm super happy about that, and I don't care what they think. My basement looks better than some of their main levels."
Hell-to-the-no-she-didn't!
Shereé teased to The Daily Dish in April that her finished basement would definitely be worth the wait. "You know people buy brand new homes, they buy older homes where the basement's not finished, not completed — but I am working on the basement," she said. "The basement has a theater. It has a gym. It has a sauna. It has a game room, a family area."
