Shannon Beador Shares a Surprising New Revelation About The Quiet Woman
Apparently the restaurant was already very significant to Shannon before that infamous night with Kelly Dodd.
If you thought The Quiet Woman saga was over, think again. Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are still reeling from that epic exchange between Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd. For those of you who may have missed this historic night of RHOC, please watch above. Between Kelly coming out of the bathroom buckling her pants to Shannon literally throwing her hands up - along with a plate - it turned out to be a not-so-quiet night. (We had to.) The evening even ended with everyone being kicked out of the restaurant, but we have a feeling the drama is far from over.
Bravo's The Daily Dish podcast sat down with Shannon Beador to discuss that night of infamy to get her side of this now-iconic moment in Housewives history. What does she think watching it now? "I'm humiliated," the Housewife said. "I take responsibility...I overreacted, I clearly did. But I was so surprised to see Kelly there." However, it seems that, to Shannon, it's not only herself who needs to take responsibility. "Lydia [McLaughlin] is a pot stirrer and Kelly knew we were going to be there and she knew that she was going to cause drama. And I felt quite ambushed to be quite honest with you."
But there was another reason Shannon was so taken aback that night. She explained, "I never see her anywhere, it's just, I never see her. I go to that place all the time, it's where I met my husband." So The Quiet Woman is where Shannon met her husband David?! Who knew The Quiet Woman would be such an important spot in her life again years later? "We have a history there. Longer than her history." The Housewife continued, "'It's my jam,' she says. Well, it's been mine longer."
So there you have it: Shannon Beador had that "read between the lines you bitch" moment at the very place she met her now hubby! Once again, the Real Housewives truth is stranger than fiction.
