Shannon Beador Thanks Fans for Their Support After Announcing Separation from Husband David Beador

Shannon Beador may have a challenging time ahead of her since announcing her separation from husband David Beador last week, but at least The Real Housewives of Orange County mom can find some solace in knowing that she's not alone. 

Shannon showed her gratitude for her friends and fans who helped her get by during this tough time. Shannon gave "a huge thank you to my cast mates and fans who are lifting me up with their love and support" in an Instagram post on Sunday. She also teased that the Season 12 reunion, which filmed on Friday, was "a very emotional day." 

The RHOC mom confirmed her separation from her husband after 17 years of marriage to PEOPLE Friday. "After much thought and careful consideration, David and I have made the difficult decision to separate," she told The Daily Dish in a statement. "We remain partners in parenthood and are committed to raising our three daughters. This is not the future we envisioned, and we kindly ask for privacy, especially for our children, during this transitional time.”

Shannon and David are parents to three daughters: Sophie, Stella, and Adeline. 

The RHOC couple has given fans an intimate look at their relationship over the past four seasons, including how they worked through David's infidelity and their vow renewal in 2016. Shannon has opened up about feeling distant from David in the most recent season of RHOC, which she admitted has been "hard to watch" when The Daily Dish caught up with her earlier this month. 

Still, Shannon said this season of RHOC has been an illuminating one for her. "From this season, I've learned that I need to focus on myself for happiness and for self-fulfillment, and I can be positive and I can be happy whether David is disconnected [from] me or not," Shannon shared with The Daily Dish (clip above). "I'm focusing on myself because the happiness comes from me."
