Shannon Beador Couldn't Help But Shed a Tear at Her Daughter Sophie's First School Dance
"It seems like she was playing in the sandbox just a year ago," the #RHOC mom said.
Our little Real Housewives of Orange County girl is growing up.
Shannon Beador shared a major moment in her daughter Sophie's life this weekend as she attended her first school dance ever. "It seems like she was playing in the sandbox just a year ago," the #RHOC mom captioned a gorgeous pic of Sophie and her winter formal date on Instagram.
Shannon admitted that she got emotional seeing her daughter all grown up and all dolled up with "#yesIshedatear" in the caption to the photo.
These days, Sophie has also been killing it on the court as the only freshman on her school's varsity basketball team.
Shannon said she has enjoyed seeing Sophie, as well as her younger twin daughters Stella and Adeline, grow up over the years on RHOC. "It is funny, because when I started the show, they were just so little, and it's amazing how much your kids mature in just a year, so it's fun," she told The Daily Dish in July. "It's nice to have that documentation so you can see how they've each matured into young ladies because they're getting there."
But as Shannon's daughters grow even more into their teen years, it's also something that she's completely dreading. "I am not ready for my kids to become teenagers, not at all. Not at all. It is frightening, because one of my twins, Stella, she thinks that she's 25 right now in her mind," she said. "I just want to keep them little."
At least Shannon and all of the Beadors will always have this sweet family moment to cherish.
