Mercedes "MJ' Javid Shares Touching Tribute to Her Dad as "My Endless Love"
The Shahs of Sunset newlywed marked the first Father's Day since her father's passing.
Mercedes “MJ” Javid has had a year of joyous highs and terrible lows. She got married to her love Tommy Feight in Los Angeles on April 21 and lost her beloved father Shams Javid in mid-May.
"I am the luckiest girl in the world," the Shahs of Sunset newlywed wrote on Instagram, captioning a picture of her and Shams when she was young. "Every single morning, my father would greet me with, 'Good moooorning, sweetheart.' He will always be the sweetest, most generous, loving man in the universe. When we were together, every day was Father’s day. This will be the very first Father’s Day that we are not physically together, but definitely in spirit."
"It is with great regret that I share the news of my sweet father’s passing," she wrote on Instagram on May 18. "Although this is something extremely personal for me and it’s taken some time to process, those of you who have followed my journey know how much I loved my father. I am comforted knowing he is in a better place now. I am so thankful for my mom [Vida], [husband] Tommy, my family and friends, who have been incredibly supportive through this greatest loss."
