Scott Disick Was Reportedly Hospitalized Under the Radar Last Month
He may have been placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold.
Details are now emerging that Scott Disick was reportedly hospitalized in Southern California on August 18 and may have been placed on a 72-hour 5150 psychiatric hold, which is placed on patients who pose a danger to themselves or others.
The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed to US Weekly that staffers from the LAFD responded to a call at Disick's home. According to the statement, "Lost Hills Sheriffs were also on the scene shortly there after. LAFD officials transported Mr. Disick to a local hospital. No other information will be given out at this time." E! News also reported about the incident.
US Weekly noted that Disick has checked into rehab four times since March 2015. An unnamed source told the publication that he was placed on the 5150 psychiatric hold.
The story broke on a new website called The Blast, which launched on September 6 with the claim, "We will be first, we will be accurate, and we will always bring you the real story."
The Blast posted a 911 call purporting to come from a security guard outside of Scott's house requesting assistance for someone who got drunk. Sources also told the site that Kourtney Kardashian, the mother of his three children, visited Scott in the hospital and that he checked out in less than 72 hours.
Scott last updated his Instagram account on September 4 with a picture on a boat, captioned, "F*** a jet ski."
Reps for the reality star have not returned The Daily Dish's request for comment as of press time.
