Scheana Shay Sets the Record Straight on Her Current Relationship Status: Is She Dating Adam Spott?
The Vanderpump Rules SURver opens up about the speculation regarding her love life.
Back in June, Scheana Shay made it clear that she was "still single..." following her split from Rob Valletta. And, if you're wondering if that status still stands, well, the SURver clarified any speculation regarding her relationship with Adam Spott, whom you might recall from that night on the town with Brittany Cartwright during Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules.
“You just have to watch next season. We’re always together. He’s my favorite person to be with," she told Us Weekly. “I don’t even know if we know … We’re hanging out. Yeah, but he’s still my best friend.”
That being said, she did give this more definitive answer: “I’m still single. It’s fun. It’s been a little over a year now. I’m living on the West side … All of my single girlfriends live on the West side and all of my friends in relationships live in West Hollywood, which is where Adam lives so he’s my plus one. I bring him along, and then it works out. Because I’m literally like the only single person on Vanderpump Rules.”
She reiterated her single girl status in an interview with E! News, adding, "I'm still single. I'm hangin' and bangin. People have definitely been interested in it but I haven't been single since I was 25. I get it. I've been divorced, then a tough breakup. Now I've been single for a little over a year and I've definitely had my fun."
As for how Scheana is meeting potential dates, well, she has devised a full-proof plan. “If I go out on a date, it’s with, like, a friend of a friend or someone I already know. So nothing that weird has happened,” the reality TV personality said in her chat with Us Weekly. “And I’m with [Adam] like five nights a week. We’re going to Iceland next month. That’s exciting. We’re going with a group of friends. There are six of us.”
Though it does sound like the podcast host is just having a really good time in her love life. “You’ll see me single the entire summer. I go on quite a few dates. I will just say that I have my Bachelorette moment on the show this summer,” she said to Us Weekly. “It was a really good summer … There is obviously a lot of cat-fighting as well, but that’s obviously every summer for us.”
