Sarah Jessica Parker Is Carrie Bradshaw Once Again with Some Help from Andy Cohen — and His Parents
There was a very special #SATC reunion on #WWHL.
Watch What Happens Live continues to quench our thirst for more Sex and the City. Just last month, Andy Cohen re-enacted an iconic scene featuring Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big with Chris Noth. And during Thursday night's WWHL, Andy, along with his parents Evelyn and Lou Cohen, performed another installment of Clubhouse Playhouse, this time with none other than Sarah Jessica Parker reprising her role as Carrie (clip above).
Yes, Carrie, Miranda (played by Andy), Samantha (Lou), and Charlotte (Evelyn) were all back together again for one of the ladies' classic, girl talk-filled brunch scenes. In this one, Carrie dishes on dating a bisexual man.
And can we just say the Cohens totally nailed their SATC roles? Andy was perfectly judgy as Miranda, Evelyn delivered a sweet Charlotte, and Lou really brought the sass as Samantha. And yes, Lou even delivered the legendary line "I'm try-sexual. 'I'll try anything once" with gusto.
Even SJP gave the Cohens some props. "It was really, really good," she applauded Andy's parents at the end of the Clubhouse Playhouse. "They're so brave. They're so comfortable."
If there's ever any more SATC in the future, we now know who should be given a call.
