Ryan Serhant Teases His Cameo on 'The Mysteries of Laura'

Ryan Serhant is ready for his close-up alongside Debra Messing on her NBC series, The Mysteries of Laura. The Million Dollar Listing New York star filmed his cameo on the show earlier this spring and the mystery of what he'll be doing on it has finally been revealed.

"I play the Tribeca Film Festival director and have a run in with Debra Messing's character Laura on the red carpet," he tells OK! "You'll have to tune in to see if I let her in."

Ryan's cameo will air Wednesday night (the same night at MDLNY!) and he revealed what it was like to work with Debra. "Debra is an incredible actress, a true professional and incredibly kind," he says.

However Ryan's recent run as an actor shouldn't come as a surprise. He acted well before he started selling real estate. "I've been studying acting my entire life," he says. "I spent every summer as a child training at the Perry Mansfield performing arts school, and then attended a liberal arts secondary school near Boston before studying theater at Hamilton College."

So how does Ryan stay happy even with his busy schedule? "I think one of the secrets to happiness is to do what you love and I am grateful every single day for these incredible opportunities," he says. "I couldn't do it all without my hard working team, and my supportive fiance Emilia."

He added, "I love real estate as much as I love acting and I am grateful that I can do both."
