Robin Roberts: Why I Love Lisa Vanderpump

The GMA host praises her "commanding presence, oozing beauty and femininity."

By Hilary Hughes

We know that Lisa Vanderpump only has eyes for Ken--well, let's be real, she loves Giggy just as much--but it turns out her hubby isn't the only one who finds the Lady in Pink to be pretty gorgeous!

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Good Morning America's Robin Roberts has a new memoir out called Everybody's Got Something. And in it she makes a confession we didn't see coming: she's got a girl crush on Lisa! Sure, Robin is very much in love with her girlfriend, but she couldn't help but fall for Lisa when she stopped by her home and Villa Blanca on assignment.

“Lisa is such a lovely person inside and out," Robin writes in Everybody's Got Something. “She has a commanding presence, oozing beauty and femininity."

Robin has also fallen in love with Lisa's amazing home Villa Rosa, which she visited during an interview. “It’s a grand setting: No detail is overlooked or spared. I was impressed that Lisa did all the decorating herself," she writes. "The master bedroom closet alone is as large as my first apartment, yet this massive house feels like a warm home.” (Apparently she didn't visit when Rumpy Pumpy was going berserk, but that's probably for the better.)

And does Lisa's flare carry over to her restaurants? Robin didn't swing through SUR, but she did meet up with Lisa and Ken for dinner at Villa Blanca, and she adored it as much as she did their home (and Lisa's closet!).

"Their restaurant is spectacular, sexy and stylish,” she gushes. "I had the English Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert,” she writes, “which consists of a very moist sponge cake and finely chopped dates, all covered in toffee sauce. It doesn’t hurt that it’s also served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Actually, it did hurt my waistline, but who cares. It is one of the most delectable dishes I have ever eaten!”
