What?! Rob Valletta Was Once Engaged to a Princess?!
Scheana Shay's friend/former flame discusses his previous relationship with a royal.
By now, we're all familiar with Scheana Shay and Rob Valletta's on-off romance and its back story. They've known each other for years and dated briefly. After they split, Scheana eventually dated and married Mike Shay. That relationship ended in late 2016 — and Scheana and Rob gave their romance another try back in 2017. By October, they had gone their separate ways as a couple, but remain friends. (You can get the full run-down from Scheana herself, above.)
And now we're learning a bit more about Rob's romantic past. He recently spilled some details on Vanderpump Rules about a prior engagement.
"We've been dating for 10 years pretty much," he told the guys of his relationship with Scheana. "She was married [and with Shay] for 6 [years], so we didn't hang out."
OK, sure. Then he shared this: "I was almost married before Scheana and she was a princess. Like, legitimately, her dad was the the Prince of Brunei. But at the end of it, I wasn't ready and I had to let her go."
