Heather Dubrow Says She Had a "Visceral Response" to Kelly Dodd at the Sushi Dinner Party
"The whole thing was awful," the #RHOC entrepreneur tweeted.
The sushi dinner party that was to be Meghan King Edmonds' last hurrah before her pregnancy on Monday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County ended in chaos after things got heated again between Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador. However, Heather Dubrow was particularly disturbed by what transpired, so much so that she asked Kelly to leave the restaurant before bursting into tears on her way out of the party.
Heather revealed why she had such an emotional reaction to Kelly's behavior on Twitter during the episode, explaining that she had "a visceral response" to what went down and that she "couldn't help" but cry.
And no, those weren't crocodile tears.
In fact, Heather said she would "rather have been composed" at the end of the night.
Shannon said on Twitter during the episode that she doesn't understand why Kelly started arguing with her over a comment her friend Nina had said at the '70s party.
She also thanked Tamra Judge and Heather for being "true friends."
Tamra was appreciative of Shannon "talking with me and trying to protect me" amid the chaos of the night.
She also said she wasn't riding the fence in the conflict between Shannon and Kelly, as Shannon had accused her of early on in the episode. "I'm getting to know Kelly and judging her on my own experiences," Tamra tweeted.
Though Meghan wasn't initially thrilled with Tamra for inviting Vicki Gunvalson to the sushi party, she thanked her castmate for organizing the shindig on Twitter.
But Meghan admitted that she "was just in shock" with what happened with Kelly at the fête.
She even applauded Heather's decision to leave the party.
For her part, Kelly previously told The Daily Dish that she regrets getting so heated with Shannon and the other RHOC ladies at the sushi party. "In hindsight, I'm like, 'Why did I say that?' I shouldn't have said something like that. It makes me look bad," Kelly explained (clip below). "But I said it out of anger and frustration and it was the first thing that comes out of my mouth, and I didn't think first before saying it, so I regret saying that to her, yes."
Hear Kelly explain more about why she got so angry during the soiree, below.
