Gina Kirschenheiter Reveals the "Biggest Reason" She Doesn't Get Along with Shannon Beador
The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer opens up about that heated night in Jamaica.
Shannon Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter haven't exactly become fast friends this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In fact, their friendship hasn't really taken off at all. Gina has expressed that Shannon hasn't really taken the time to get to know her, while Shannon has said that she's had bigger priorities to focus on, like going through her divorce, raising her three daughters, and launching her new food business.
Every time that Shannon and Gina have tried to sort out this issue, it hasn't exactly gone smoothly. But nothing compares to the drama Gina set in motion when she shared her feelings about Shannon's continued distance during the ladies' trip to Jamaica in Monday night's episode of RHOC (clip above). Gina would go on to call Shannon's friendship to Tamra Judge into question, which would lead to a heated night of arguments, with Shannon even storming off away from the group.
Gina told The Daily Dish during an interview in New York City on Monday that she finds Shannon's behavior in situations like the Jamaica trip to be "so inappropriate." "You can't be a grown woman flipping out, ripping your mic off, running down the streets of Jamaica because somebody said that you're being rude to them. I don't get it at all. I've never met anyone like her in my life," Gina explained. "Even now, I feel bad. I so rarely don't like people, and I think that for me, the biggest reason why I don't like Shannon Beador is because she has made me now not like someone... I don't like this feeling. I don't like not liking people. It's too much energy, and it's too much work to not like someone. I just can't."
Shannon addressed the intense episode in her latest blog on Bravotv.com. "This is a very difficult episode for me to watch. First, to re-live the pain I was going through at the time in a fairly new separation, but also to hear what my friends were saying behind my back," she wrote. "I have so many things to say, but at this time I don’t want to dive into it. We are filming our reunion this week, and I intend to address it there. It can only get better from here."
Gina shared with The Daily Dish that she hasn't been in touch with Shannon recently and that she doesn't "even care to try" to be friends with her moving forward. She reflected more on what's gone down with Shannon this season and if she thinks she could have done anything different to start their relationship off on a better foot during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday night.
