You'll Never Believe Tinsley Mortimer's Connection to Shep Rose

We do love a crossover! On Monday, June 11, The Real Housewives of New York City socialite Tinsley Mortimer posted that she ran into a familiar face in New York City: Southern Charm's Shep Rose.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

"Always love seeing [Shep] in NYC!! Bravo fam!!" Tinsley wrote in an Instagram pic of the duo.

In the video above, Tinsley opened up about how she knows Charleston's most eligible bachelor.

"I know Shep because he actually went to school with my sister," Tinsley revealed. "And I adore him." She explained that while she actually met Shep "later in life," her sister has known him for years. "He's the same old Shep ... He's friends with friends of mine, and friends of friends in Palm Beach."

Tinsley also revealed that in addition to being real-life friends with Shep, she's a big Southern Charm fan.

"I love that whole show. I love everybody on that show. Charleston is such an amazing place," she said. "I wrote my book [Southern Charm] before Southern Charm was actually on air ... [the main character] Minty Davenport is based in Charleston. It's just so funny; I mean, I should go down there and be Minty and be down there in Charleston and date Shep ... no, I'm kidding."

Tinsley, who recently said she was still "super close" with on-again, off-again boyfriend Scott Kluth, hopes Shep can find love as well. "I hope he settles down and finds a good woman," she shared.
