Phaedra Parks: I Speak to Apollo All the Time

The 'RHOA' star also hopes to have her children visit him in prison.

Phaedra Parks seems to have changed her mind over one aspect of husband Apollo Nida's incarceration: she wants their kids to visit their father. Although the Real Housewives of Atlanta star initially seemed hesitant about letting their young sons—Ayden, 4 and Dylan, 1—see their dad in prison, she recently revealed to TMZ that she "would love to" have the tots visit with Apollo for the holidays.

Phaedra also reiterated that she is in constant communication with Apollo, saying, "I’ll send him a Christmas card and everything. I speak to him all the time."

Apollo also recently spoke out about his life behind bars and had nothing but positive words for Phaedra. "I'm not the best husband...I know I let a lot of people down, but I can say that Phaedra is the best wife and mom and that my children are in good hands with her," he said, also letting it slip that he remained optimistic about their future together. "I'm hopeful that we can stick things out." However, Phaedra's rep reiterated that "the divorce is proceeding as planned."

Apollo turned himself in September to begin serving his 8-year sentence for fraud and identity theft, and not before having a huge war of words with Phaedra over her refusal to appear in court on the day of his sentencing. It seems the two have since resolved some of their issues. "At this point, I don't care about anything else except getting my life back on track. I know for a fact that when I get home, I will pick up the pieces," Apollo recently said about his commitment to his family.
