Phaedra Parks' New Boyfriend Tone Kapone Speaks out on Their Relationship

Phaedra Parks practically broke the internet when she posted a smokin' photo of herself with a new mystery man on Instagram earlier this week. The two looked so cozy, it had everybody wondering if The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum had a new special someone in her life.
Well, the man in that photo is Chicago radio host Tone Kapone, and he finally set the record straight on his relationship status with Phaedra during an appearance on DISH Nation on Wednesday, January 2. “Yes, me and Phaedra are dating,” Tone confirmed. “See? I told everybody. Now can’t we just go back to our regular lives?”
Tone spoke a bit more about the relationship reveal in his recent Instagram Story. "Yes, me and Phaedra are dating. OK, cool. Is that it? That's the big moment everybody was waiting for," he told his followers. "Yeah, it was kind of self-explanatory on her page. I didn't want to re-post it because it seemed like it would have been super weird. Like, yeah, look at me. If you know anybody that knows me, I'm not that kind of guy."
Phaedra previously teased that she had a new man in her life during an interview with PEOPLE in December, although she kept his identity a secret at the time. “I have a special guy that I’ve been seeing,” she shared. “I’m really excited. We haven’t introduced him to the world but he’s a baby doll. He looks like a treat because he is a treat. He’s a great guy.”
Fans followed Phaedra's marriage to Apollo Nida during her time on RHOA. The couple wed in 2009, but Phaedra announced her plans to divorce Apollo in 2014 shortly after he began his eight-year prison sentence for fraud and identity theft. Apollo got engaged to Sherien Almufti in 2016, and he and Phaedra reportedly reached a divorce settlement in 2017. The exes have two sons together, Ayden, 8, and Dylan, 5.
