Paging, Dr. Dubrow! RuPaul Wants a Facelift
The 'Good Work' star calls the plastic surgeon "an artiste."
It seems like Terry DuBrow might have to scrub up soon. His Good Work co-star, RuPaul, has revealed that he's ready for a facelift — and would love for Dr. Dubrow to be the one to do the procedure.
"I've wanted a facelift for years. Well the thing is this I have been working so much I haven't had the opportunity to do it," the famed drag queen shared on his podcast RuPaul: What's the Tee?, adding that Heather Dubrow's hubby even invited him into the surgical room to see the procedure for himself.
"He invited me to the operating room to watch him perform a facelift on one of his patients," he recalls of joining the Real Housewives of Orange County husband for the surgery. "And I wasn't sure how I would react 'cause I can't watch it on television. I have to close my eyes when I watch it on television."
"But I scrubbed up went in there... Nothing. I felt like I was watching the hands of God," he continues. "It was where flesh and the spirit meet. [Podcast co-host] Michelle, it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my entire life... In fact, I can easily say it was one of the top ten events of my life."
Since then, both RuPaul and Terry have discussed the possibility of Ru going under the knife. "He said that I can be back in front of the cameras in 10 days," RuPaul says. "He says the only problem would be the scar behind my ear [because I'm bald]... I'm in drag. I'm on TV, we can cover up in makeup."
With all that in mind, he notes, "I do think I'm gonna do it."
The E! host later adds, "And now that I'm doing this show and being around Dr. Dubrow, he knows all of the latest and greatest of what's happening now. He is an artiste. I love that guy, [a] lovely person and he's a very, very talented plastic surgeon. So, Dr. Dubrow, here I come!"
