Andy Cohen Teams Up with Anderson Cooper for Orlando Charity Event
The #WWHL host is raising funds for the Florida community, following the tragic nightclub shooting.
In the wake of the tragic shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida last week, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper are teaming up for an event to raise money for the OneOrlando Fund. The duo announced that they will host a a special AC2 live benefit show at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Art on Thursday, June 30. All proceeds from the event will go to the OneOrlando Fund, which was created by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer as a way to help those in the community.
Tickets for the special AC2 show will go on sale Tuesday, June 21.
Since the tragedy took place on June 12 at Pulse nightclub, Andy has spoken out about how deeply affected he's been by the events, and vocalized his support for the victims."This has touched me probably more than anything, just because I think I could have been there," he told Entertainment Tonight last week. "When I look at the pictures of the victims, I see their faces and I see people that I know and that I relate to."
