It may only be January, but it might as well be Christmas with a gift like this. The first 12 minutes of Imposters is here, and you'll soon see that every second of our newest scripted series is even more thrilling than you imagined.
The show opens on Ezra Bloom (Rob Heaps) looking depressed and distraught, with what looks like a makeshift noose hanging around his neck. But then a knock at the door from the FBI completely changes everything.
And believe it or not, that's not even the wildest part of the premiere. Flashback to five weeks earlier, and we see Ezra madly in love with his new bride, Ava (Inbar Lavi), who's basically the luckiest girl in the world since her hubby has been spoiling her with an anniversary present every day since their fairytale wedding.
But it's when Ezra is picking up the latest gift for Ava, a puppy, that things get real serious, real fast. Ezra discovers that his entire bank account has been cleared out, and the person who did it, his wife, is actually a persona-shifting con artist. Oh, and if Ezra tries to find her or go to the police, she'll expose a folder full of his family's deepest, darkest secrets.
Looks like the honeymoon is over.
