NeNe Leakes and Peter Thomas Are All Smiles at Her Comedy Show Premiere
The #RHOA funny lady knocked 'em dead during her first performance in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Nothing brings people together like a little comedy. Case in point: Peter Thomas came out to support NeNe Leakes at the first performance of her one-woman show at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday.
Though NeNe hasn't always seen eye-to-eye with Peter and she recently reconnected with his wife Cynthia Bailey, who is going through some issues with her husband at the moment, the two looked like old pals in this photo taken in between her sold-out shows on Wednesday night.
The goodwill didn't stop there. The after party was also held at Peter's bar, Sports One Charlotte, where NeNe greeted fans and busted a move.
NeNe admitted that she was a little scared to take the stage for these sold-out shows in an interview with E! News last week, and her nerves seemed to continue right up until the big day.
But NeNe did all that worrying for nothing because it looks like the shows went off without a hitch. "Backstage Dranking celebrating after my first show! WE KILLED IT," she wrote on Instagram.
NeNe even got emotional during her celebration after the shows. "I was so overwhelmed with the love and support in Charlotte [sic] Nc," she wrote on Instagram. "I got so emotional. My hubby @greggleakes was there to catch me tho. I didn't want to cry because I wanted my lashes to stay on."
Even in a heartfelt message, NeNe can't help but crack a joke. She's going places in the comedy world. We can feel it.
