NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak's New Show: What To Expect
The Atlanta ladies team up for 'The Road to Riches,' and are leaving the drama behind.
What do you get when you pair NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak together again for a road-trip of a lifetime? A whole lot of fun—and if it's up to them, not a lot of drama.
The Atlanta ladies are bound for Los Angeles in their new series The Road to Riches, and although they haven't always seen eye-to-eye on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, one thing they do agree on is how thrilled they are to be working together again—without any input from others.
"It will be good not having anyone interfering with NeNe and I," Kim shares with E! News. "We're back to where we started twelve years ago, no other noise. No other people talking nonsense. It will just be her and I and we have a really good time."
NeNe couldn't agree more. "One of the things I'm most excited about is working with Kim, just the two of us," she explains. "I just left Housewives where I was working with like, six monsters." Yikes!
We've witnessed their friendship go through some pretty intense ups and downs. But as NeNe explains, that's the nature of the beast when it comes to RHOA. "Working on a show like [Real Housewives] tears friendships apart," she says. "It's hard."
So if you're looking to find some major drama go down, Kim assures that you should look elsewhere. "Enough is enough," she says. "People get tired of watching the drama. Like, I love my life, she loves her life, we've both been very successful. We're just going to have fun. It will be good for me to get away, all the kiddos, get a break."
Not to say that there won't be any disagreements, of course. "I'm sure Kim and I will die," NeNe jokes. "Like, Kim's going to want to walk down the stairs and I'm going to want to take the elevator." And you might see some bickering when it comes to sharing. "She's going to want to wear my wig and I'm going to want to wear hers," Kim says. "We got into little arguments but we always worked it out." Bye, wig!
If you're anxiously anticipating watching the duo pair up for some hijinks on the road, you're not alone. Some of our favorite Bravolebrities couldn't be happier for NeNe and Kim, and took to Twitter to express their delight.
Milliionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger for one is certain this show will be one for the record books.
Fellow RHOA star Porsha Williams also chimed in, sending well wishes to the two.
