Mohamed Hadid's Fianceé Addresses Allegations He Sexually Assaulted a Model
Shiva Safai shared her take on claims made about her real estate mogul fiancé.
Following allegations made by model Miranda Vee last week that Mohamed Hadid sexually assaulted her during what she thought was supposed to be a coffee meeting, the real estate mogul's fianceé, Shiva Safai, spoke out in a new interview this week. Hadid has previously denied accusations of sexual assault made by Vee, calling them "totally untrue."
“Honestly, I really don’t want to talk about it,” Safai, who has been engaged to Yolanda Hadid's ex since 2014, said on SiriusXM’s Conversations with Maria Menounos on Thursday, according to Page Six. “I’ve decided to really just focus on myself and great things that are coming ahead.”
Vee decided to come forward with her account of what she alleges happened with Hadid in the wake of allegations made by Kate Upton against Guess co-founder Paul Marciano. The 23-year-old recounted in detail her allegations against the real estate mogul, who she said invited her for coffee, and said it was during this encounter, which she said was "just me, him & champagne," "where he date raped me in [an] apartment." She then alleged she was later asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The encounter reportedly took place two years ago.
Hadid said, "When we met, it was not a date and not once did I touch her."
