Are the Shahs Still Speaking to Mike Shouhed's Ex Jessica Parido?

Not long after their fairy tale wedding, Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido's relationship quickly began to crumble. Fans are now seeing the fallout of their marital woes on the current season of Shahs of Sunset, as the pair tries to work through their issues in therapy with Mike admitting that despite the mistakes, he still wants to work it out with his wife. Along with the emotional toll faced by the couple, it hasn't been easy for the Shahs' friends to watch their relationship destruct right before their eyes. 

"It is sad. It has been sad, but Mike also ignored a lot of the warning signs and he did a lot of things he shouldn't have done," Reza Farahan told The Daily Dish. "But he wasn't aware and present, so he got caught up in it and then, obviously, he's suffering the ramifications of all that."

Mike and Jessica announced their divorce last November, eight months after their March nuptials. At the time, Jessica cited Mike's infidelity as a cause for the split. However, MJ Javid noted that the couple may not have been on the same page after the wedding.

"Mike and Jessica's love was like this storybook romance and I am such a sucker for romance that when I saw what they were going through, I thought I took everything as real and authentic," MJ told The Daily Dish. "It did not occur to me at the time that Mike was going too fast and that he wasn't ready, but that's what it ended up being. Jessica wanted to be a wife... She wanted to fulfill the role of her dream to be a wife. After they got married, the dust settled and way too much reality set in and everything that she thought about what a marriage would be [was] too much of the glitter instead of the real [of] what marriage is. And Mike wasn't ready. I wish both of them nothing but the best. But now that she's living with another man and jumped from that lily pad to another. I started to think that maybe she's not quite as innocent as I thought."

That being said, MJ may be the only Shah on good terms with Mike's ex. "We're on good terms because — this gonna sound so a sign of the times — I'm the only person that she hasn't un-followed," MJ explained. "She knows that I've been authentic with her. Jessica knows that I've been real with her, so hopefully she'll still be cool when she hears that I have another honest opinion about what happened 'cause she hid a lot. She hid a lot of things that she was really doing just playing keeping up with the Joneses."

While Mike and Reza have had their own issues in the past, he insists they are pals today. "I love him. He's my brother and we're back to normal," Reza said, before revealing whether he keeps in touch with his pal's ex. "Not at all, no. Bye, bitch."
