Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi on Mercedes "MJ" Javid's Baby Fever: "She's Definitely Not Ready"

Baby fever has taken over Shahs of Sunset this season, and no one seems to be feeling that more than Mercedes "MJ" Javid. The Shahs pal has expressed her desire to start a family throughout the season, which has resulted in some emotional moments with her fiancé Tommy Feight, her mom Vida, and just about everyone in the squad. 

When we last left MJ, she and Tommy decided to take things a little more slowly when it comes to parenthood and focus on their relationship, first and foremost. We imagine Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi, who has been open about her own plans to start a family, was relieved to hear that, since she told The Daily Dish earlier this season that MJ is "definitely not ready" to become a mom while discussing the baby fever that has swept the Shahs.

GG went on to say that she thought MJ was rushing into starting a family because of her father's health struggles, which were documented this season of Shahs. "I don't know. I think, honestly, MJ is trying to have a child for the sake of her father, which is beautiful, you know, she wants to give her father a grandchild. She's an only child, so she wants to do that," GG explained. "But it's just, I don't know, there's so much other stuff in her life that she needs to set straight before she can bring a human being in. We see how her mom Vida is and how everyone says MJ is identical to her mom. So it wouldn't be fair for MJ to create another child like that." 

Still, MJ is hopeful that she will become a mom "in the very, very, very near future," she told The Daily Dish in August. "It's not on the back burner," she shared. "We're planning to go for it; unless something goes wrong, we will be pregnant. God willing."
