What Was Going Through Mercedes "MJ" Javid's Mind During Her Surprise Proposal?
The #Shahs pal gushes about her unexpected engagement.
A cemetery is probably the last place you'd expect someone to get down on one knee and propose, but that's exactly what Mercedes "MJ" Javid's fiancé Tommy Feight did in Sunday night's episode of Shahs of Sunset as he interrupted her renewal ceremony to pop the question (clip above).
And trust us, MJ was just as caught off-guard by the lovely moment as you were. "I had a totally different thing planned out," she wrote on Instagram Sunday. "What surprises life brings. He definitely caught me."
MJ later said during The Shahs Come Clean with Nadine after show that she only had "shock" going through her mind as Tommy proposed (clip below). "I had no idea," MJ said of Tommy's proposal. "We talked about marriage. We talked about it, but we were still barely off the heels of, like, a Tinder fling, come on."
But we're certainly happy MJ and Tommy decided to take the plunge. We mean, just look at that engagement ring.
