Meghan King Edmonds Welcomes Daughter

This holiday season Meghan King Edmonds has a little daughter to be thankful for. The Real Housewives of Orange County star welcomed her first child, Aspen King Edmonds, on Thanksgiving day (November 24). She confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing that she and husband Jim Edmonds' "hearts are exploding."

Aspen arrived a little earlier than expected and Meghan hoped she could hold out until after November 21 for an important reason. "My psychic said I'm going to be early, so we'll see. I'm hoping [she's a Sagittarius] 'cause I don't like the sign Scorpio, which is before Sagittarius. I looked into all of that,"she told The Daily Dish back in October. "I'm hoping she's a Sag baby, but we'll see. I think it starts November 21, so I'm hoping she waits until November 21."

As for the baby's unique moniker, Meghan teased a bit about why the couple chose that name. "Her middle name is King. That's her name. Jimmy's like, 'Wait, wait, like aren't we going to talk about her middle name?' And I'm like, 'Do you want to talk about her last name? Like we can change that if you want to talk about her middle name. Otherwise her middle name is King,'" she said, adding that the couple picked the baby's first name because "we just like it. And there's some meaning to it, too."
