Kelsey Grammer's Daughter Reveals What He Told Her Before She Hit the NYFW Runway

Over the years, we have not only gotten to know the stylish ladies in The Real Housewives galaxy, but also their families, including parents, husbands, pets, and kids. Among those women we've come to know and love is Camille Grammer, who came on the scene during Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Camille may not live her life full-time in front of the cameras anymore in the nearly 10 years since the show premiered, but she has stayed around and been spotted hanging with the RHOBH crew from time to time. And her life has changed a lot since she we first met her. She's officially divorced Kelsey Grammer, and has found love again with attorney David C. Meyer. But two people remain constant in her life: her two kids with Kelsey: Jude Grammer, 14, and Mason Grammer, 16.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Camille's two kids haven't spent much time on screen, but viewers have definitely been curious about them and perhaps wondered what it's like to have a mom who is a Real Housewife. The Daily Dish spoke to Mason earlier this year about just that and, in her case, also having a dad who has starred on several beloved sitcoms.

"It's awesome and annoying at the same time," the model and high school student said. "It's really cool cause we get other perks that a lot of people don't and amazing experiences that are just great to be able to experience. But, also, it's annoying, say, when my parents get asked to take pictures a lot and they'll ask me to take the picture — which is real fun. Or, just, paparazzi — that's annoying too when they just come up to you in your business. It's just not fun. You just got to deal with it."

It was a bit hard on Mason back when the show debuted in 2010. At the time, her parents were going through a divorce (which was finalized in 2011), and it definitely affected her day to day. "Well, [the attention has] mellowed down a bit because I remember season one of Housewives, it was really bad. [The paparazzi] were showing up to my soccer games at my random high school at the time, which I wasn't even in high school, and my parents were going through a divorce then, so it was a lot. It was a lot at that time, but it definitely has mellowed down and it's OK now."

What Is Camille Grammer's Son, Jude Grammer, Up to Now?

These days, Mason is busy with her life as a high school student and model (she already has a number of New York Fashion Week shows under her belt; more on that in the video above), with plans to head to a university and study another aspect of the entertainment industry. "I definitely want to go to college. I want to study film," she said. "I want to become a director, so we'll see how that works out cause that's my true passion. But I enjoy doing this [modeling] right now; it's really fun."

In fact, her career as a model has even given her a chance to work with her mom. They both appeared in Malan Breton's show at NYFW back in February. However, they usually do more down-to-earth mother-daughter activities. "We do mother-daughter things like shopping, going out for breakfast, lunch, just normal things. She'll drive me to school, regular stuff," Mason said, noting it's also her mom who spoils her more than her pop.

"I'll come home and she'll have like a new shirt on my bed and be like, 'I saw this when I was out and I thought it would look cute on you.' It's like, 'Oh, thanks mom.' She definitely spoils me more."

As for an allowance, Mason revealed, "I don't have an allowance really. Well I don't ask for much a lot, so if I'm going out with friends, I'll be like, 'Hey, can I have like 20 bucks?' But that's really it."

Mason's family is also expanding. Back in October 2017, Camille confirmed her engagement to David. And Mason is excited for what's next for her mom.

"I just want her to be happy. It was a lot when she went through the divorce too and I really just want her to be happy and I know she's happy now. So I hope it works out and that it's good and the guy she's with I really like. So I think that's a big plus there too."

And she'll soon have a few more siblings via David. At the time of the interview, she shared she has only gotten to know them "a little, not much, but they're younger than me so I don't spend a ton of time with them. So we're just meeting now too, so it's gonna take us a while to become closer."

In addition to her younger brother and future stepsiblings, Mason does have a very large family, including five additional siblings via Kelsey. And, yes, she is close with her dad's kids from his other relationships, including, "my older sister Greer, I'm close with, and [my] younger siblings — I'm super close with 'cause I live with them half the time."
