Quad Webb-Lunceford on Why She Filed For Divorce

Quad Webb-Lunceford confirmed that she filed for divorce from her husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, during an interview with The Daily Dish last week. Now Quad is opening up more about why she ultimately decided to call it quits with her husband of nearly six years.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine premiering November 24 on Bravo. Now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Quad spoke out about her split during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night. She revealed that "there were a number" of reasons why, after a difficult time in her marriage, which we saw play out last season of Married to Medicine, she felt like filing for divorce from Dr. Greg was her best option. You can watch Quad open up more about that in the above video.

The Married to Medicine TV host went on to express some regrets about her marriage on WWHL. "I wish that I probably could have really set the tone a little differently," she told Andy Cohen. "I think for me, I was trying to be everything, and eventually that wore on me, and in a sense, it made me resent him a bit."

Quad also shared that she and Dr. Greg are currently living in separate homes, and they don't really communicate other than the odd text message. She also said that going through the divorce process with her estranged husband has "been tough." "He's been non-compliant in turning in the paperwork in which we need to complete the divorce," she shared. "So I figure if you want to live single, then you do the work to be single."

But what has really made going through a divorce difficult has been living through it in the public eye, Quad said during a recent interview with ESSENCE. “I was going to tell you this earlier before I got a bit choked up, it’s even more challenging when you’re in the public eye … because everyone has [judgment],” she said. “I’m all on the blogs today and some of the things I’ve read [have] been crazy. It’s been horrific."
