Luann de Lesseps Has Some Big Plans for Her Wedding (Hint: Think 3 Dresses)

Luann de Lesseps is a go big or go home kind of gal, so it's not exactly surprising that her upcoming wedding to Thomas D’Agostino is going to be quite the affair. Planned for New Year’s Eve in Palm Beach, The Real Housewives of New York City bride-to-be is now dishing on what guests can expect. And, at the very least, they should anticipate some incredible fashions.

"You know what, it’s threefold,” Luann told Entertainment Tonight. "It’s Tom’s birthday, he’s going to be 50, it’s our wedding, and it’s New Year’s Eve. I’m going to do three different dresses. For my big night, why not have three different dresses? I’m gonna work and collaborate and design one myself, because I love style and fashion. I’ve styled myself for the last eight years of the show."

In addition to losing her single girl status, marrying the businessman also means that she's losing something else: her Countess title. But, that doesn't mean if you see her she'll correct you should you call her the Countess out of habit. "That is true [I'll lose my title]. I’ll be Mrs. D, Mrs. D’Agostino instead of Mrs. de Lesseps, and that’s OK. It will always be a part of who I am,” Luann said. “I have the Countess Collection on EVine, so I’m continuing with my brand … People are like, ‘We want to call you the Countess! We don’t want to call you Luann!’ I’m like, ‘You can always call me the Countess.’"

Regardless of what might become of her title when she says "I do," she knew Tom was the one from the moment she met him. "I’m a hopeless romantic. I knew I wanted to get married again, I kind of put that out in the universe, and it came true. I’m just as shocked as you are. I’m shocked and thrilled," Luann said. “When everything’s so easy, and this is your soulmate, life just glides along. No friction. It just works."
