Lisa Gets Emotional Discussing VPR Cast Member She’s “Most Invested in” — It’s Not Who You'd Expect

The Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion doesn't kick off until Tuesday, May 14, but the cast — more specifically, Lisa Vanderpump — is already making some big revelations in BravoTV.com's exclusive preview.

After a few introductory questions from host Andy Cohen, the Watch What Happens Live emcee turns to the SUR matriarch to note, "It's so incredible that y'all have been doing this for 11 years."

Then, Andy asks, "Lisa, whose journey has surprised you the most as you look around this room?"

Her answer? James Kennedy.

Lisa Vanderpump Is "So Close" with James Kennedy

With the caveat that the entire Vanderpump Rules cast is "full of surprises," Lisa details just how close she is with James compared to a few of the others. 

"The person that I've always been the most invested in and has broken my heart, has made me cry, made me laugh, who I speak to so often, and I'm so, so close to, is James Kennedy," Lisa says. "And this season watching him, he still makes mistakes — he's kind of been blessed with his gregarious, crazy personality that sometimes takes him in the wrong direction — but you see him having come full circle." 

She goes on to praise James for getting sober; finding a healthy relationship with his girlfriend Ally Lewber; buying his own house; and of course, getting "his furry baby" Hippie — aka Graham — back.

"I'm proud of him," Lisa adds, before turning to James himself. "But you know that. I tell you that every time I speak to you." 

With that, Andy asks the ultimate Vanderpump Rules question: "James, are you the number one guy in the group?"

Replies James, "That's what they say, Andy."
