Lisa Vanderpump Explains Why the Fire Department Was Called to Villa Blanca
"Contrary to the old adage, there is often smoke without fire..." the #RHOBH pal wrote.
Everything's fine now, but on Monday afternoon the fire department was called to Lisa Vanderpump's Villa Blanca restaurant in Beverly Hills after an incident involving one of the eatery's pizza ovens, which forced patrons to evacuate the hotspot.
"The pizza oven extract got too hot and started smoking," Ken Todd explained to TMZ. "We didn't want to take any chances so we called the fire brigade and they just came and put some water on it. They're amazing. They're so quick and so efficient."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband added that most of the damage from the incident is water damage and that the eatery will be closed for a few days for cleanup. There were no injuries.
After the news broke, Lisa headed to Twitter to clear up how serious the incident was, with a little bit of humor. "Contrary to the old adage, there is often smoke without fire..." she wrote.
The Vanderpump Rules boss even made sure to reassure The People's Couch pal Scott Nevins that everything is just fine now.
