The tensions between The Real Housewives of New York City cast reached a pinnacle during Season 3 when the once airtight friendship between Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel evaporated before everyone’s eyes. Despite tension in the group, when it came to Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, it seemed all the ladies agreed that the show must go on.
So, obviously Bethenny was a little taken aback upon arrival at the Pamella Roland show when she received a somewhat cold reception from Countess Luann de Lesseps. But, this fashion show became a ticking time bomb when the situation escalated into a full on argument during a chance run-in with none other than Lisa Rinna.
“Where are we, at a church? We’re at a fashion show,” Bethenny wisecracked to the in response to Luann’s protest that the setting was the wrong time and place to discuss their issues.
Little did Lisa know that her photo op with the New York ‘Wives would result in Bethenny and Luann going head-to-head. If only Lisa could have peered into a crystal ball to see her own Real Housewives future, perhaps she may have stuck around a little longer to get a closer look at how to navigate the icy waters that our Housewives sometimes find themselves in.
