Lisa Rinna: Brandi Glanville Inspired My Latest Role
The actress says she dressed like her co-star in "very, very high heels."
Lisa Rinna has learned a lot from her time on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but one thing she probably never expected to pick up was a new acting trick. The veteran actress has revealed exclusively to the Daily Dish that she channeled none other than co-star Brandi Glanville for a new role on a yet-to-be-revealed big network show.
"They wanted me to play a trashy mom trying to keep up with her 18-year-old daughter," she says of the part. "And I used [Brandi]. I dressed like her." (In related news, People magazine reports Lisa has scored an upcoming role on CSI.)
Taking styling cues from the Drinking and Tweeting author, Lisa donned "very, very high heels" and a "very short skirt."
"I had on a lot of makeup and I had a lot of hair," she adds. "But I wasn't drinking so it wasn't 100% Brandi. I didn't have a drink in my hand."
Brandi herself recently tested out her own acting chops when she and Jeff Lewis pulled a practical joke on Andy Cohen during a segment on Watch What Happens Live. In order to make the host squirm, the two pulled off a bit in which Brandi pretended to break down in tears over a perceived insult.
