As Lamar Odom continues to recover following his hospitalization last week, the owner of the Love Ranch is opening up about the basketball player's health scare. Dennis Hof spoke to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville on her podcast, Unfiltered, and discussed what happened before Lamar was found unresponsive on October 13 at his Crystal, Nevada brothel. "Well, Lamar wanted to come out and get away from everything," he recounted, serving up his version of events from the day of Lamar's health scare. He shared that Lamar was found "unconscious" by "the girls" that work at the Love Ranch. Upon discovering him, "We call 911, my staff jumped right on it."

Dennis continued to explain the series of events leading up to Lamar's hospitalization. "We call the ambulance, the police, they get here, my people were working on him trying to get him going, get him on his left side; do all the things that they told them," he said, which is when one of the female employees confirmed Lamar had taken drugs prior to his stay. "I think he burned himself out partying starting on the fifth of October and then just wanted to get away," Dennis added.

On Monday (October 19) the NBA star was discharged from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and transported by helicopter to a Los Angeles-area facility. The following day (October 20), his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, issued a statement thanking everyone for their support.

"The past week has been incredibly difficult," she said via E! News. "I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloe."
