Lady Gaga Teases Her American Horror Story Return (from the Makeup Chair!)
The singer is on set, "but...who" is she playing this time around?
Lady Gaga is back! The singer has officially hit the set for the new, ultra-mysterious season of American Horror Story. After her Golden Globe-winning turn as The Countess during the anthology series' Hotel era, the Mother Monster is keeping details of her new role under wraps. "Back to work! #ahsseason6 #ahs #acting not the countess but...who??" she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her in hair and makeup.
Actually most details about this new season of the FX series are locked up pretty tight. Several teasers have surfaced, but the network has confirmed that most are red herrings for what the eventual theme of the creepy series will be this time around. "There are many more trailers than you've actually seen for hypothetical seasons of American Horror Story — different genres, different places," FX network CEO John Landgraf shared this week. "One of them is accurate; the others are all misdirects."
What we do know for sure, other than Gaga's return, is that AHS superstar/queen of fierceness Sarah Paulson will also be back this time around, along with Cheyenne Jackson and Angela Bassett.
