Kyle Richards Opens Up About Her Dad and the Life Lessons He Taught Her

Kyle Richards decided that on this most recent Father's Day she would honor her own pop, Kenneth Richards, by posting some adorable vintage snapshots from her childhood. In addition to sharing those photos, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom also shared some insights into what her dad was like when she was a kid.

Kenneth's marriage to Kyle's mom, Kathleen, was his second, and he had three children from that relationship, in addition to being dad to Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton (whom he adopted). And Kyle shared how that experience shaped him to be a dad again, writing, "I was my Dad's 6th child. He was already a grandfather when I was born. He was a pro at being a Daddy."

So, what kind of lessons did papa Richards teach his actress daughter?

"So handsome and smart. Loved to cook and taught us how to," she said. "He also loved cars. He was the kind of Dad that would ask what we wanted to do and if we said 'camping!' He would say 'ok, come on, let's go' no matter what we said he would drop everything and take us."
