Kyle Richards Explains Why She Broke Down in Tears While Talking About Her Sisters

Kyle Richards' relationship with sisters Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton hasn't always been in the best place, as we've seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills over the years. For every lovely moment, like when the sisters came together to see Kim's daughter tie the knot, there's been a tense one, like Kyle and Kim's argument in the limo in Season 1. 

Kyle shared on Tuesday night's RHOBH that her relationship with her sisters has become "very complicated" as she breaks into the world of developing and producing TV series, such as her upcoming show American Woman, which is set in the 1970s and based on the life of her mother, Kathleen Richards. During the episode, Kyle broke down into tears as she told Dorit Kemsley that she doesn't feel like she can share her success with her sisters these days because she doesn't know how they will react.

Kyle clarified her comments about her sisters to Dorit during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday. "Less than being a rift, it was more like I just didn't feel I could reach out in that moment [that] there was something to share because there's been some tension and awkwardness. And it's hard when you don't have your parents. You really lean on your siblings," she explained to Andy Cohen. "So in that moment, and Dorit just caught me in that moment where it came out, and I really wish it didn't, but it did."
