Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's Home Was Broken Into
Suspects reportedly stole $1 million in jewelry.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's home, which they recently moved into, has been broken into, according to a report. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple's new home in Encino was broken into on Wednesday night while the family was in Aspen on a vacation. TMZ reports that the suspect or suspects broke in through a window and took nearly $1 million in jewelry, including $150,000 in watches owned by The Agency mogul. Kyle's jewelry was allegedly in a lock box, but it's unclear if they were able to break into it. The burglary was discovered by the housekeeper.
There is a security system at the home, but it was not on at the time; however a closet sensor was triggered by the suspects at around 1:15am. The home does have surveillance cameras which may help authorities identify the suspects.
Kyle has posted a couple photos from the family's trip to the ski town to Instagram.
Kyle recently spoke about the family's new 11,000-square-foot home, which has been previously owned by Smokey Robinson, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. “We went into this house and I went, 'Oh my gosh.' I was completely blown away, because it's not like anything you would see in Los Angeles, normally. I just fell in love, and my husband did, too.”
