Celebs are asking for a little bit of empathy in the wake of the reality star's harrowing incident.
Anything involving Kim Kardashian usually inspires a strong reaction from the public, and the recent news of her robbery at gunpoint in Paris Sunday is no exception. Although the reality star has received much sympathy following the scary experience, the haters have also come out in full force to mock her.
Luckily, Kim K. has some famous friends in her corner. Chrissy Teigen voiced her concern about some of the public dialogue surrounding the incident and took on the Twitter trolls for their insensitive tweets, reminding everyone that just because someone lives in the public eye doesn't give people free reign to ridicule every situation they find themselves in.
James Corden also asked his Twitter followers to have some compassion for Kim.

Kim was robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry after being held at gunpoint by two armed, masked men while visiting Paris Sunday. The incident occurred just days after Kim was attacked by "prankster" Vitalii Sediuk on the streets of Paris, who also recently grabbed Gigi Hadid in Milan last month.
Kim's husband, Kanye West, ended his performance during the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York early in order to attend to the "family emergency."
