Cynthia Bailey Reacts to Kenya Moore's Departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta
Her Twirl was "dearly missed" during RHOA Season 11.
Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was full of change for Cynthia Bailey, including an empty nest with daughter Noelle Robinson off at college, a new man in boyfriend Mike Hill, and new Georgia Peaches to get to know. But Cynthia also had to go through her ninth season of RHOA without one of her best friends: Kenya Moore.
Kenya and Shereé Whitfield confirmed to The Daily Dish that they will not be returning for Season 11 of RHOA. Cynthia was definitely sad to not have Kenya by her side in the upcoming season. "Although I made some amazing new friends this season, my Twirl @thekenyamoore was dearly missed," she shared on Instagram Monday.
Still, Cynthia said that she was "so excited" for RHOA to premiere on Sunday, November 4 at 8/7c. "I am so grateful for the continued love and support from my family, friends & fans. I truly appreciate your kind words & well wishes," she wrote. "I am in a beautiful place in my life and I am looking forward to sharing my journey."
Cynthia also sent her best wishes to NeNe and Gregg Leakes as Gregg continues his battle with cancer, which we'll see more of in the new season of RHOA. "Please continue to pray for our dear @greggleakes speedy recovery, and for @neneleakes continued strength," she shared.
Cynthia's fellow Atlanta Housewives, including NeNe, Kandi Burruss, and the newest Peach on the block, Shamari DeVoe, also expressed their excitement for the new season — and some disbelief that it's already Season 11 — on Instagram. "You could’ve never told me when I joined the cast season 2 that I would be here for season 11," Kandi wrote. "I have so much love for everybody that watches the show, blogs about us, & truly supports us. Thanks y’all!"
