Kelly Dodd Offers an Update On Her Split from Michael Dodd and What Her Next Move Might Be

After confirming their separation back in September, Kelly Dodd opened up about her split from her husband, Michael Dodd, during Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 reunion. During the emotional sit-down, the SoCal mom shared just what contributed to their ultimate decision to part, citing that she and her husband had been fighting more and adding that he was "jealous" at times during their marriage. Kelly commented on the night of the reunion airing that watching it back left her emotional: "I cried watching this .. it was hard for me to watch," she shared on Instagram.

This separation marks the second time Kelly and Michael have gone their separate ways; they separated for the first time in 2012. And when The Daily Dish spoke to Kelly prior to the reunion airing, she revealed why they split again. "The same patterns and it wasn't changing and I just had enough," she said. "I couldn't take it anymore. It was constantly happening over and over again. There's only so much one can take."

As Kelly also noted during the reunion, she had moved out of the home she and Michael shared. And she opened up more about that move to The Daily Dish. "We sold our house and I got my own place, so it's just Jolie and I. I'm making it pretty rad," she said of their current home located on the beach.

But their current place is only temporary — and Kelly has some interesting plans for where they may live next. "My close [on my home] happened so fast, I had to get something quick," she said, adding for her next home "I like that French look. But not so heavy furniture. But I like that French Chateau look like a girls' chateau. Girly and frilly, just girls and frills."
